Bottle Report’s Italian Feast

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Ground Sirloin
  • 1/2 lb Mushrooms chopped
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 1-2 sprigs each of Oregano or Basil (Note: can use 1-2 Tbsp. dried)
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups Reduced fat sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups Shredded cheese (Such as Italian Mix or Mozzarella)
  • 1 pkg. Reduced fat Crescent Rolls
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/ Tbsp. Italian Seasoning

Instructions

1. Pre-heat oven to 350ยบ degrees.
2. Brown ground sirloin with onions and mushrooms. Use salt and pepper to taste.
3. Chop and add tomatoes, sprigs of herbs (Basil and Oregano) and a teaspoon/clove of minced garlic. Remove from heat.
4. Mix the sour cream and shredded cheese together.
5. In a casserole pan, layer the meat and tomato mix in the bottom of the pan. Frost the top with the sour cream and cheese mixture. Finally, unroll the Crescent rolls and place on top. Cover the dough with some grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
6. Put the dish in the oven for 40 minutes or until the top has browned.
7. Let cool for 10 minutes.
